SUNLIT Advertising's Consumer Fair 10 (CF10) is expected to draw much more than 120,000 people, with the amount of activities and booths made available this time around.

The latest Consumer Fair, which will be held at the Bridex Hall in Jerudong, will see an increase in the number of exhibitor booths from 330 to 420.

It will also consist of outdoor activities in a "family carnival" set up, with a theme focused around health awareness, according to the event organiser.

The CF10 will be held from June 27 till July 1, 2012.

Sherly Tan, marketing manager of Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd said that as of press time, all booths have already been filled.

"This will be our biggest Consumer Fair as it is our fifth year and our 10th instalment," she said during a signing ceremony at Sunlit Advertising's headquarters at the Beribi Light Industrial Estate yesterday.

She added that because of the size of the event, Sunlit Advertising decided to move to the Bridex Hall in order to utilise the outdoor space, which Tan said has not been done before.

One of the challenges that Tan said that Sunlit will be trying to minimise is parking-related problems.

"We have allocated parking spaces for consumers to park at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre parking where the Pusing Lagi is, and free shuttle buses will bring the consumers to the Bridex Hall," she said.

The latest consumer fair will continue to have a mix of local and international exhibitors.

Tan also confirmed that Thailand and Iran are among the countries that have already signed for country pavilions.

CF10 will also have an aim to push a healthy lifestyle theme, and will be partnering with Fitness Zone Sdn Bhd to provide related activities.

Tan added that there will also be health check-ups, with fitness activities such as dancing and aerobics in the pipeline.

"We are also doing sports activities like a football competition and a lot of other things related to health," said the marketing manager.

Yesterday's signing ceremony saw Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd ink deals with its event and activity partners which included Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru), Brunei Press Sdn Bhd, BT Forwarding Sdn Bhd, AnakBrunei.com, Oregon Systems Sdn Bhd, Aewon Garment Sdn Bhd, New Motors Sdn Bhd, Brunei Nerfers Association (BRUNERF), Fitness Zone and AdSports Event Management.
