NIE Contest
The Brunei Times is on a hunt for a trendy name for its Newspaper in Education weekly pullout supplement, which is currently called BT-NIE.
Readers are invited to take part in the competition which carries a cash prize of $300 and a one-year subscription to The Brunei Times newspaper.
Please submit a maximum of three names on each entry form and submit it to the address below in any one of the ways suggested.

Rules & Regulations
- The Competition is open to all school students and members of the public who are residing in Brunei Darussalam. Management and staff of Brunei Times Sdn Bhd are not allowed to participate in the Competition.
- Entries submitted for the Competition must reflect the objectives of the supplement and symbolise a publication “by the students for the students”.
- Each participant can submit up to three (3) names and each name should be fewer than five (5) words.
- Two prizes will be awarded to the best entry for one person only :
- Cash prize : B$300.00
- One year subscription of THE BRUNEI TIMES newspaper (*For students, you can also win your school/university 5 copies of 1 year subscription and also stand a chance to be featured in NIE program)
- The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entries that have been published, or used for any commercial purpose before. The Organisers also reserve the right to disqualify any prize winners who do not own the sole copyright to their entries, and to recover the prizes that have been awarded to them.
- The Organisers reserve the right to reject any entries if the origin of the source is in dispute.
- The Organisers will not be responsible for lost or damaged entries.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence pertaining to the decision of the results will be entertained.
- Submission deadline is 1 September 2008. Only the winner will be notified.
- Submission of entry signifies acceptance of the rules and conditions stated above.
