iKhlas makes a mark

A SPECIAL dinner was held to mark the start of partnerships between Bag Networks with three local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on Thursday night at Bubungan 12 in Kota Batu.

The companies—Sahamada Corporation Sdn Bhd, Brukiosk (Ranoadidas) and SPHI Foods are the first to become part of the iKhlas solution, an online accounting system.

Present as the guest of honour at the event was the Deputy Minister of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR) Dato Hamdillah Hj Abdul Wahab.

"The iKhlas solution is a result of successful collaboration between BAG Networks and MIPR to support His Majesty's vision and goal of a strong and vibrant SME sector in Brunei," said the deputy minister in his welcoming speech.

The ikhlas as an online accounting system will eventually be part of an online Business Management Solution for SMEs.

In place, this solution will provide a stepping stone towards better business practices through efficient and safe financial management he said.

After the speech, the chairman of BAG Networks, Dato Paduka Hj Ali Apong presented certificates to the new partners.

The dinner was organised to bring together all five parties involved for a night of relaxation and networking opportunities.
