Pakistan naval chief ends four-day working visit

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan, yesterday consented to receive in audience Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir, Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan.

Present at the audience were Major-General Pehin Haj Halbi Mohd Yussof, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), and officials from the Ministry of Defence.

Also accompanying the Pakistani Admiral were three staff officers who were part of his delegation during the four-day working visit.

Throughout the working visit to Brunei Darussalam, the Chief of the Naval Staff held talks with his counterparts and other senior officials and discussed matters of bilateral interest.

The Pakistani delegation left the sultanate yesterday afternoon.
