Singapore leaders wish new prince good health

FOLLOWING the royal birth of His Royal Highness Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim Ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah were congratulatory messages from Singapore leaders.
The leaders, through the High Commission of the Republic of Singapore in Brunei, yesterday extended their heartiest congratulations to the royal couple, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah.
The messages came from Singapore President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong who wished the newly-born prince good health and good fortune.
Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah gave birth to the baby prince on March 17 at 3.50pm at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (Ripas).
A 19-gun salute was fired from the cannons on the Istana Nurul Iman grounds to mark the joyous occasion.
Her Royal Highness, due to celebrate her 20th birthday next month, is currently a student of public policy at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
