Chemistry Open Day

THE Department of Chemistry under the Faculty of Science, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) organised its first Chemistry Open Day yesterday.
The event was open to all upper secondary and tertiary Science students which aimed to increase their awareness of chemistry.
Dr Zohrah Hj Sulaiman, UBD's Dean of Science, guest of honour at the event in her speech stated that due to the demand for scientists and technologists in Brunei, the Chemistry Department took the initiative to promote awareness and interest in the subject.
At the event winners of a poster competition received their prizes from the guest of honour.
