Singapore envoy's working visit to Temburong

SINGAPORE High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Joseph Koh visited the Temburong District Office on April 16.
His Excellency was greeted upon arrival by the Acting Temburong District Officer, Hj Mohd Abdoh DSS Hj Abd Salam. During the meeting both His Excellency and the Acting District Officer exchanged views of mutual interests.
Talk on leadership
The Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Bangar in collaboration with the Counselling and Career Guidance Department of the Ministry of Education has conducted a motivational talk on leadership for teachers and students of the school on April 15.
Included in the day's programmes was a trip to Bukit Luba at Kampong Belais and Buda-Buda where participants spent time doing recreational activities.
Meanwhile motivational talks were also held for the school's Secondary Five students and 'PRS Supervision' for teachers were conducted by officers from the Counselling and Career Guidance Department on Tuesday, April 17.
'Gotong royong' at Kg Sibulu
A gotong royong or volunteering work were carried out to clear trees along Kampong Sibulu roadside that was thought would pose a danger to residents living in nearby areas and road users.
Officers and staff of the Temburong District Office were joined in the community work by the Fire and Rescue Department, Electrical Services Department, the police, the Public Works Department and residents of Kampong Sibulu as well as members of the Mukim and Village Consultative Council.
