BLNG awards contracts to two more local companies

TWO more local companies have been awarded the contract for the two on-going major projects of Brunei BLNG.
The contracts were awarded to Adinin Works & Engineering Sdn Bhd (AWE) and Tendrill Company for Electrical and Instrumentation Work and Modification Works to Brunei LNG facilities respectively.
The signing of contracts for the Power Project and the Cooling Water System Rejuvenation (CSWR) project was held at the BLNG Plant yesterday. Till now, seven Bruneian companies have been awarded various contracts for the execution of these projects.
Brunei LNG and Adinin Works & Engineering Sdn Bhd (AWE) signed a contract for the execution of Electrical and Instrumentation work required for the projects.
Signing on behalf of Brunei LNG was Hj Matsatejo Sokiaw, Acting Managing Director while Hj Adinin Pehin Dato Hj Ibrahim, AWE's Chairman signed the contract on behalf of the Contractor.
The second contract between Brunei LNG and Tendrill Company covers Modification Works to Brunei LNG's existing 11 kV Switchboard to feed new transformers for the CSWR project.
Haryati Hj Ramlee, managing partner of Tendrill Company and Pg Noralim Pg Hj Ahmad, head of ARP Projects for Brunei LNG, signed the agreement.
The awarding of contracts to local companies represents Brunei LNG's "continous commitment in extending the plant life to ensure the reliable supply of LNG to its buyers and to promote business development among local contractors", according to information released by Brunei LNG.
