Career counselling for secondary school students

A CAREER Talk for secondary five students was held at Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Bangar, Temburong, recently. The talk was facilitated by three officials from the Schools Department's Career Guidance Unit of the Ministry of Education. The session served as a guidance for students on their future direction after completing their studies and the types of job or career that suit their personality. The talk was followed suit with a Question and Answer session.

In a bid to expand their services to residents in all districts in the country, HSBC has held a mini roadshow at the Bumiputera Complex in Bangar.
During the roadshow, visitors are informed on the bank's financial planning and existing banking facilities such as HSBC credit cards, personal loans, home loans and investments.
Customers also had the opportunity to win prizes from lucky draws conducted by the bank and to know more about the various promotions and services being offered by HSBC.

Officials from the Dakwah Centre Unit in the district recently paid a visit to residents of the Lepong Baru Long House. They also stopped over at the home of a convert, Awg Mohd Yussof Abdullah, as part of the unit's responsibility to provide continuous religious guidance to new Muslims in the district.
