Gambling nabs four

THE Anti-Vice and Gambling Unit of the Royal Brunei Police Force caught four locals including two women for alleged illegal gambling activities at a house in Kampong Ayer.

Police confiscated gambling paraphernalia and $4,000 cash, which they believed to be money collected from illegal gambling activities, which will be used as evidence to prosecute the suspects.

If proven guilty, they will be fined $5,000 and imprisoned for 12 months.

Meanwhile, a local man has also been detained for possessing 24 packets of syabu or methamphetamines.
