RBPF's vehicles get facelift

THE Royal Brunei Police Force has received a facelift with their new vehicle design. The old yellow and blue is now gone and replaced with the introduction of a blue and white checkered stripes across all vehicles.
The launching of the new design was held yesterday at Police Headquarters in Gadong, where Police Commissioner Pehin Dato Kerma Setia CP Dato Paduka Seri Zainuddin bin Hj Jalani officiated the event. Thirtyseven new vehicles were purchased by the Royal Brunei Police Force, which includes Mitsubishi Magna 380 Sedans, 10 Toyotas, 13 Volvos, five trucks, two large cargo trucks and one large 45-seater bus.The introduction of the new police vehicles is part of a new concept from the Royal Brunei Police Force titled "Community Policing", which aims to improve and modernise their assets to further emphasise their presence in the community. "The new image that we have acquired should not be seen as something merely cosmetic but it has a positive impact on the services of the police. We will be able to realise our commitment and responsibility from all the other heirachy of the officers and police forces," said the Police Commissioner.
"These police vehicles will be distributed among the different units according to their need," he added.
