Security exercise ends

THE Royal Brunei Police Force and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces staged a joint security exercise which began just before midnight Wednesday and lasted into the early hours yesterday.
The collaborative exercise was carried out as part of the security preparations for the upcoming Royal wedding between Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah and Awangku Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari next month.
The exercise, involving the use of blank ammunition, began in front of the Bandar Seri Begawan Fire and Rescue Department, before moving to the heart of the capital.
All affected roads were closed for safety purposes.
