HSBC promotion prize distribution

HONG Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) yesterday presented prizes to the winners of its "Headstart and Personal Instalment Loan Promotions" in the Main Banking Hall of the bank's office in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Lucky winners Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab and Farhana Hj Awg Damit received their prizes from Lyndsay Rajah, head of Personal Financial Services. Abdul Rashid won a Motorola KRZR while Farhana won a Sony Ericsson Z610i.
Meanwhile, Sii Tung Yang and Meghraj Gurung each received the latest version of the iPod Shuffle after winning the bank's April draw.
The Headstart account, which HSBC offered beginning in January this year, targets the younger generation from ages 24 and below. Those who registered for the account have a chance to win a monthly lucky draw, with prizes that include iPod Shuffles and movie vouchers.
Two lucky winners will each get a mobile phone today during the grand draw.
HSBC continued its credit card promotions with one targeting coffee lovers yesterday. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Gadong was the next stop for HSBC credit card holders.
A purchase of one cup of coffee using an HSBC credit card entitles a cardholder to a free ice blended coffee.
HSBC is also having daily giveaways every day from May 1 to July 31. Lucky shoppers will be able to get back twice what they spent their money on a daily draw.
