Adcom bridging the gulf through Bridex 2007

LEADING United Arab Emirates company, Adcom Group participation in Bridex 2007 was in direct response to an invitation by the Ministry of Defence.
Speaking to The Brunei Times, Technical & Strategic Consultant, Professor Hans George Wolf said that Brunei has done "a great job" and its administration have greatly assisted exhibitioners, and that the Brunei's defence exhibition has been organised professionally and similar to that of foreign defence exhibitions.
"Although equipment from the Adcom was minimal, Adcom reacted immediately to the invitation from the Ministry of Defence said Professor Hans George Wolf.
"The opening ceremony of Bridex 2007 was unique compared to other defence exhibitions" he said and added that His Majesty's visit to Adcom's booth was not only as a courtesy visit but showed the monarch's deep interest in the technology' that Adcom had to offer.
Speaking about UAV technology, the professor said that the products that they made are not only for defence, but it also takes into consideration the environmental aspect of it, and this approach is important, he went on to say.
He said, threats nowadays have evolved, threats now come from the environment and used the example of climate change. It is through military doctrines, and through UAVs that they are able to reach certain remote and inaccessible areas for surveillance and border security. There is a need to protect our environment, and "not just fighting with bullets", said the professor.
