JUNE is a special month for reading.
The Language and Literature Bureau has lined up various activities to satisfy bookworms and whet the appetite of more people to take the habit of reading again.
The special month officially starts today at the RTB ceremonial hall at 8am. A wide selection of books are for sale at the Dewan Bahasa exhibition hall in the capital as well.
Other activities such as reading workshops will take place at the state library.
In Belait district, the Bengkel Pengurusan Perpustakaan will take place at the Perpustakaan DBP in Kg Pandan on June 11-14.
In Tutong district a Bengkel Kecemerlangan Belia will be held at the Perpustakaan DBP Tutong, also June 11-14.
In Temburong an activity related to the observance of the special month for reading will also be held on June 18-21.
The closing ceremony will take place on July 2 at the Sarmayuda Hall, The Dewan Bahasa, and the Berakas library at 2pm.
