McGeorge visits Brunei for MICE

The Empire Hotel and Country Club recently welcomed photojournalist, Mr. Jonathan McGeorge of a regional MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition) publication called MICE in Asia. Mr McGeorge is in Brunei from 10 to 14 June to have a first hand experience of the Sultanate in order to promote it as an exciting new MICE destination in Asia.
MICE in Asia is an independent special interest magazine for the meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition industry. The magazine targets the needs of conference organisers, meeting planners, event managers, incentive buyers and professionals in the tourism trade. The magazine features on the design and marketing of events, fairs, exhibition, location, destination, hotels, meeting facilities and convention centres. The magazine is printed four times a year with a print of 20,000 copies.
Upon his arrival at the hotel, he was welcomed by The Empire Hotel and Country Club's PR and Marketing Communications Jennifer Kang who later hosted a welcome lunch at Pantai restaurant. The lunch was attended by TC Chun, Managing Director and Gracelda Virly, Manager of MICE Division of GoodMiles Sdn Bhd.
While in Brunei, McGeorge was brought for a tour to several tourist attractions including the City, Temburong National Park and more. McGeorge also toured the International Convention Centre and other MICE related venues in the Capital.
