The students, supervised by four teachers from the unit, are required to stay the night at the mosque and take part in activities such as the five obligatory solat prayers together as a group, morning exercises that include jogging, motivational talks and lecture conducted by officers from the Counselling and Career Guidance Unit, Schools Department and Islamic Dakwah Centre.

The students who have been chosen by their schools should make use of the golden opportunity, said Abdul Ghani.

He continued that from the programme the students will also be able to "learn what they need to know in terms of the Islamic rules and benefit from the activities."
