THE Smart Naco bazaar held in Kampong Serusop yesterday received good response from the people of the area.
Imelda Lasco, the Brunei branch manager of Smart Naco, said this was the first time the company had organised such an event and therefore was not concentrating on heavy advertisement.
She said that the main purpose was to give opportunity to members to get together and have fun. The bazaar and garage sales was just a trial to see whether the members could organised them successfully. The company is trying to organise more activities for the members aligned with the Malay culture, Lasco added.
The company now had about 2000 members. Smart Naco currently have three branches in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and is planning to open a new branch in Thailand, hopefully this year.
Hjh Kayah Hj Ibrahim, a member as well as one of the vendors selling clothing and various accessories, said that even though there was not much business, she still enjoyed the company of family and friends.
Dyg Norsinah Hj Abd Samad, had been a member for seven months and said that in order to convince customers, she tried the product herself to find the benefits.
Her sister, Dyg Nasib Hj Abdul Samad was a member since the opening of the company.
She said that earlier she was suffering from high cholesterol and high blood pressure but after using IgG-Plus her condition had improved.
