'Place trust in Allah the Almighty '

CONGREGANTS were told not to fear the future during a lecture given by the State Mufti, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz (Dr) Hj Abdul Aziz Juned at Kampung Keriam mosque of Tutong. Instead, he instructed the congregants to give themselves in to Allah (SWT) and to place their trust in Him.
Many people have been affected by this 'psychological disease' due to various reasons and resulted in them in adopting habits such as restlessness, being constantly worried and developing a lack of confidence.
In his lecture, the State Mufti stated that this disease could not simply be cured by a pharmaceutical drug. There was only one pharmacy which supplied the medicine to this disease and that was through the reading of the Holy Quran.
In the al-Quran, we are instructed to give ourselves in to Allah and to trust in Him (tawakal). Those that take this 'medicine' will no longer fear or worry about the future.
Orang Kaya Jaya Putera Dato Paduka Hj Muhammad Taha Abdul Rauf, the state representative for Tutong district at the State Legislative Council and Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Othman Uking were among the 170 congregants present at the subuh lecture.
This was the 10th time this event had been held, but it was the first time that it was held in Tutong.The Brunei Times
