HRH Crown Prince arrives in Fujairah

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, arrived in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, yesterday after concluding a successful visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Upon his arrival at the Fujairah International Airport, HRH was greeted by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah.

HRH will be also be competing in the World 8 Ball Championship 2008 which will be held in Fujairah from April 18-25. Accompanying HRH throughout the visit is Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi. After Bahrain, Fujairah is second stop of HRH's latest visit to the Middle East.

Prior to embarking to the United Arab Emirates, the visit of HRH to Bahrain has further strengthened ties between the sultanate and the Kingdom of Bahrain, which began on September 24, 1988.

During his official visit to Bahrain, HRH paid a courtesy call on His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force, and His Highness Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was on hand to bid farewell to HRH the Crown Prince at the Bahrain International Airport. Once there, a static guard was carried out by the Bahrain Police Force in honour of HRH's visit. Prior to the departure a prayer was recited by Pehin Khatib Awang Haji Hamidon Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Hamid, at the hotel.
