Saturday, June 21, 2008

THE DST 3G GO!Broadband roadshow made its final stop yesterday at the Central Mall in Tutong.

The promotional roadshow campaign went through all four districts to introduce the GO! broadband products and packages plans.

According to Hj Matnarudin Ibrahim, the chairman of the DST Group roadshow committee, the campaign is part of the company's 13th anniversary celebration.

He added: " DST group is committed to ensuring that the needs of its clients are recognised. This includes establishing our products and services based on the needs and wants of our subscribers."

DST 3G system will also be continuously developed in terms of its coverage and services, and will revolve around the development of the latest technological innovations.

The roadshow was also held in conjunction with the World Communication and Information Day, which is celebrated on May 17 annually.

This year's celebration is themed 'Connecting Persons with Disabilities: ICT opportunities for All'.

The Tutong roadshow was launched by the guest of honour, Hj Jamain Momin, District Officer at the Tutong district office.

One of the company's representatives said in an interview that the GO!broadband has been received positively by the public.

"So far there is a lot of interest in the plans, especially from students for the two Go!Students package plans. The 3G system now has coverage extending to mostly businesses and residential areas and DST aims to increase the system's coverage phase by phase," said the spokesperson.

"Subscribers can also contact DSTcare line 151 for more information or updates in terms of the coverage so as to maximise the capacity of the system."

The DST GO!broadband products and package plans aim to provide more Internet access choices to the public. The system is one of the ways DST aims to provide the latest mobile technology. (RSH1)
