Kuwaiti PM completes Brunei tour

KUWAITI Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah left Brunei yesterday after concluding his three-day official visit.
Present at the Brunei International Airport, to see the distinguished guest off, was Minister of Development, Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Abdullah Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar, as well as Brigadier Gen (U) Dato Paduka Hj Mahmud Hj Saidin, Royal Brunei Air Force Commander.
The prime minister, whose visit to Brunei marked the start of a three-week Asian tour, continues his tour to Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand to improve economic partnership and cooperation.
During the three-day visit, His Highness Sheikh Nasser who was appointed premier in February 2006, conducted several activities towards the realisation of friendly bilateral relations.
Three Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in the area of economic cooperation, finance and foreign affairs were signed between the governments of both countries on Friday, followed by a meeting between the Kuwaiti Prime Minister and His Majesty, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
