LAKSAMANA College of Business yesterday held its annual Gala Night to celebrate the end of yet another academic year in its six year history.
Themed "Welcome to Las Vegas", the Gala Night was filled with various performances by students in colourful and elegant attire bringing to the scene an atmosphere much befitting the theme.
Offering light entertainment and reminiscing the past year with the crowd, students and organisers were all smiles and laughter throughout the evening as they sat back and enjoyed the food and show.
An awards presentation ceremony was also held during the evening to honour some of the college students such as one for the youth icon which is a student role model.
Also part of the awards ceremony was presentation of prizes to best performers, singer, dancer and more during the evening of fun and merry making.
Students, lecturers and tutors and the staff members attended the function as the evening was regarded to be among one of the last opportunities for a gathering of the previous year's students with staff and teachers before they leave the country for further education.
Also at the function to share the celebrations was Laksamana College's Chief Executive Officer S Sivarajah.
