Museum closed for Aidil Fitri

WITH the upcoming festive Raya season, the Brunei Museum Department would like to inform the public that museums in Brunei will be closed for the first two days of Hari Raya.
The exhibition halls will be open to the public starting from the third day of Raya, with the normal visiting hours.
The exhibition halls are Brunei Museum in Jln Kota Batu, Malay Technology Museum, Bubungan Dua Belas, Royal Regalia and Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park in Tutong.
From Monday to Thursday, the museums will be open from 9am to 5pm, every Friday from 9am to 11.30am, 2.30pm to 5pm, and on Saturday, the museums will be open from 9.45am to 5pm. However, the entrance will be closed 30 minutes before visiting hours end.
Meanwhile, the Electrical Services Department would also like to inform the public that the counters for payment of electricity bills and purchase of repayment meter coupons will be closed from October 1-2, if the first day of Raya falls on October 1.
If first day of Hari Raya falls on October 2, then the counters will be closed from October 2-4.
Customers who wish to pay their electricity bills or purchase prepayment meter coupons, are asked to do so before the said dates.
The department would also like to remind prepaid meter customers to ensure that they have enough credit during the public holidays. (RSH1)
