Vietnamese PM pledges closer ties with Brunei

VIETNAM has pledged to better cooperative relations with Brunei, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, investment and labour.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung made the statement while receiving the newly accredited Bruneian Ambassador to Vietnam, Dato Paduka Hj Mahadi Hj Wasli, in Hanoi on September 17.
The premier expressed that positive bilateral developments have brought practical results to the people of both countries.
Ambassador Dato Paduka Hj Mahadi Hj Wasli shared the view with his host, adding that PM Dung's recent visit to Brunei boosted the ties to a new height. Speaking on Vietnam's economic achievements, he said Brunei's agencies have actively implemented cooperation agreements signed during the PM's visit to Brunei.
