A TWENTY-TWO-year-old local was brought in to the Limau Manis Police Station for further investigation last Thursday for allegedly attempting to smuggle meat into the sultanate.
Two policemen who were making their rounds at Kampong Junjungan, Limau Manis in the Brunei-Muara District, close to 9pm, March 8, searched the man who was riding a motorbike.
The officers found him in possession of six packets of buffalo meat believed to have been smuggled in by the man through the Brunei/Limbang border.
