B-MOBILE Communications Sdn Bhd and Baiduri Bank yesterday signed a Value Added Services Agreement, an important pact for both institutions but ultimately making the consumers in Brunei as the ultimate winners.
Signing the agreement on behalf of Baiduri Bank was Pierre Imhof, the bank's General Manager, while b-mobile was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Song Kin Koi.
With the agreement, b.mobile customers can look forward to an array of options when purchasing recharge cards or paying their bills.
The new options will give customers great convenience and flexibility as they can pay their bills by cash, credit cards, account transfers, over the counters, Automated Teller Machines (ATM) or Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), through the telephone and Internet banking.
Baiduri Bank General Manager in his remarks says that he believes the services agreement will bring the right convenience for both Baiduri Bank and b-mobile customers. For Baiduri, the partnership will see the bank assisting b-mobile in promoting its services by extending the mode of bill payment, under scoring its mission to provide innovative and comprehensive financial products and services to the Brunei community.
The signing of the agreement is a significant milestone for b-mobile, as the strategic partnership with Baiduri Bank will see them enhance their current network by utilising Baiduri's 10 branch facilities and a further 12 offsite.
Coupled with b-mobile Communications five branches, it means there are now 27 locations nationwide where b-mobile users are able to pay their bills over the counter.
For the members of the general public who do not maintain a bank account with Baiduri bank, they are still able to pay their bills anytime of the day through Baiduri Bank's network of ATMs and CDM machines.
