Laksamana College opens for new intake registration

MID of June, marked the end of another study term at Laksamana College of Business (LCB).

In conjunction with that LCB has opened registration for the new term which will start with the London Chamber of Commerce Industry (LCCI) International Qualifications Diplomas (Level Three) on July 19, 2010. LCCI qualification diplomas and certificates also carry international recognition from universities and professional bodies.

For more than 100 years it is known not only for it's standards of excellence but also valued and trusted by employers worldwide.

LCCI International Qualifications are awarded by Education Development International PLC (EDI), a leading international awarding body pioneer in online assessment from the UK. LCCI International Qualifications is offered in over 100 countries worldwide. It is EDI's policy to work as closely possible with governments and regulatory authorities, and wherever possible to achieve formal accreditation. It is also accredited by the Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council (BDNAC) and LCCI International Qualifications Diplomas (Level Three) are formally accepted as being equivalent to 'A' Levels.

LCCI qualifications is not only used for applications to jobs but also for entry into higher education which includes universities in the UK such as University of Hertfordshire, University of Portsmouth and Heriot-Watt University.

LCB offers Level Three LCCI International Qualifications Diplomas in Accounting, Marketing and Business and Industrial Administration.

The entry requirement for said courses are three 'O' Level credits in either one English medium subjects with any two Malay subjects, two English medium subjects supported by any one Malay subject or three English medium subjects.

Apart from this, Laksamana College has also opened its July 2010 intake registration for other Professional Business Courses such as Kensington College of Business (KCB) Professional Studies in Business Management which includes KCB Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Higher Diploma, as well as Computing Courses such as IC3, CompTia A+ and CompTia N+.

In addition, LCB is also opening its September 2010 Intake registration for the academic courses in Business and Computing comprising the Cambridge International Diploma in Business, university foundation course, BA Common Year One and the newly launched BTEC HNC and HND in Computing.
