AS part of its civic responsibility, Laksamana College of Business recently set up donation boxes at the college in aid of the Society for the Management of Autism Related in Training Education and Resources (Smarter).
The donation was the college's initiative in helping the kids at Smarter upon hearing their cry for help recently.
The donation which was collected from Laksamana College's staff and students consist of used clothes, books, toys and school stationeries.
The goods were collected over a period of three weeks. The goods were handed over to Smarter by Laksamana College's Registrar, Dk Hjh Siti Noorsinah Pg Hj Mohd Arif, who was accompanied by the college Head of IT, Prakash Mohan during their visit to the centre recently.
Through this effort, the college hoped to instil a community spirit among its students and create awareness on how important it is to support the children who are special in many ways and how small things can make a difference in a child's life.
LCB is looking forward to running more of such charity events in the future to help children fulfil their dreams at the same time put a smile on their faces.
