Chung Ching students pay visit to Smarter and LCB

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

THE future is bright and beautiful for the students under the Young Enterprise Scheme (Yes) from Chung Ching Middle School, who not only raised over $700 for Smarter, but made efforts to visit the education and welfare centre for autistic children.

Upon hearing the plight of the troubled organisation, the Yes students organised a food fair which raised over $500 and then collected a further $200 among themselves to raise the amount.

The group, which consisted of 28 students and two teachers from Chung Ching Middle School in Seria, made the visit early yesterday morning, which was initiated by the students, and spent the morning playing and singing to the centre's children.

After visiting the centre, the students took a trip to Laksamana College of Business (LCB) for a briefing about further academic options for the students upon completion of their education at the middle school.

During their visit, the students and teachers were received by Bogusia Mischke, LCB's Administration Manager, and Prakash Mohan, LCB's Head of Information Technology.

The students were then briefed on the various business courses offered at LCB and the entry requirements for each course, as well as on the advantages of LCB's Academic and Professional Degree pathway and the LCCI International Qualifcation.
