HAVING officially completed its February/March 2011 Intake, the Laksamana College of Business Student Committee recently organised a get-together for all the current students.
The event held at Angel Beach in Tutong was attended by 40 Laksamana College of Business students which included the new students from the February/March 2011 Intake.
The event was aimed mainly to welcome the new students and to promote camaraderie amongst the new and old students of Laksamana College of Business.
The event commenced around 2pm with the arrival of students and lecturers.
Those who attended the event were treated to BBQ buffet prepared by students.
Among the activities organised by the Student Committee for the event were water balloon fights, hammock swinging, football, ATV motor rides and swimming.
Supervised by the Laksamana College of Business Student Committee Advisor & IT Lecturer, Azman Mashor, the event was also attended by Laksamana Chief Operating Officer, S Sivarajah as well as lecturers Brendon Hallot and Yap Sze Wei.
Besides welcoming the new students, the event was also designed to improve communication and the relationship among the students and lecturers outside the learning environment.
The BBQ get-together concluded around 9pm with a bonfire celebration.
