THIRTY-TWO Form Five students from Chung Ching Middle School, Seria attended a briefing session at Laksamana College of Business (LCB) recently.
The students were accompanied by three teachers, who were Jim Bariak, Lai Swee Tai and Md Izam Hj Md Yassin. The delegation were received by LCB's Administration manager Bogusia Mischke and IT lecturer Yap Sze Wei.
Mischke then proceeded to introduce the students to LCB Business courses. She briefed them on the various business courses offered at the college and the entry requirement for each course. The Students were briefed on the advantages of LCB's Academic and Professional Degree Pathway.
They were also briefed on other Business courses such as LCCI International Qualification. It included a video and slide-show presentation.
Following the introduction the students were then introduced to the LCB's BTEC and Computing Courses. Facilitating this session was IT Lecturer, Yap Sze Wei.
Various slideshows comprising introduction to LCB's new Computing course, BTEC. Students were shown the progression structure from BTEC HNC to BTEC HND as well as the entry requirement for BTEC. In addition, they were also briefed on LCB's other computing courses such IC3, Comptia A+ and Comptia N+ certification.
The Chung Ching Middle School students were also informed of the college's next intakes for Business and Computing Courses Following the presentation, the visitors gathered for a photo session before proceeding to tour around the college premises to observe the facilities available and later on a presentation of a token of appreciation from Chung Ching Middle School to LCB.The Brunei Times
