LCB celebrates Raya with orphans

LAKSAMANA College of Business (LCB) celebrated the spirit of Aidilfitri with a Hari Raya open house held at the college premises on Friday afternoon.

Present at the event were British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Rob Fenn, Chairman of Abdul Razak Holdings and Director of LCB Pehin Orang Kaya Ratna Setia Dato Setia Hj Abdul Hapidz Pehin Orang Kaya Laksamana Hj Abdul Razak, Director of LCB Haji Suhaimei Haji Besar and LCB Chief Operating Officer S Sivarajah, as well as the Indonesia's Ambassador HE Handriyo Kusumo Priyo and Malaysia's High Commissioner HE Dato' Abdullah Sani Omar.

Also present were administrators, lecturers, students and their families. In keeping with the spirit of Aidil Fitri, the college also invited about 40 orphans registered under Japem to the celebration, where they were treated with food and live performance by talented students of the college.

The festive celebration began at 3pm with the arrival of invited guests who were welcomed by the COO as well as the staff and lecturers of LCB.
