Consumer Fair 9 to feature 'Kids World'

THE ninth instalment of the much anticipated Consumer Fair (CF9) is fast approaching, scheduled to take place from January 4 to January 8, 2012 at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. The event is sure to be packed with various highlights and entertainment for both young and old especially in the Kids World theme park.

During the course of CF9 get ready to meet and interact with a list of famous cartoon and movie characters.

The 'Kids World' theme park is the brainchild of the collaboration between the organisers of CF9 Sunlit Advertising and with Bluewaters Advertising. The theme park is hoped to give visitors a memorable visit as they immerse themselves in a number of three different fantasy situations.

The first is the "Pirates of the Carabbean 5" world. There visitors will receive surprise as they find a life size pirate ship and manning it is Captain Jack Sparrow (pic) and his crew. Visitors can spend time exchanging pirate talk with the crew members and pose for a memorable photo with the fearsome crew. Visitors can also live their fantasy of becoming a pirate by climbing up the rigging to the ship's mast and even go on an adventure to search of the treasures hidden in the "Dead Man's Chest".

The second world is the fun and exciting home to none other than the squared yellow sponge who calls him self Bob namely "Bikini Bottom". There visitors can get a chance to win prizes by just looking at Spongebob's underwear. The character to meet there is Patchy who will invite visitors to surprise Spongebob with a gigantic birthday cake.

The last world is "Sunny Side" where kids can meet favourite Toy Story characters the likes of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and even Barbie's friend Ken. During the course of the fair the character mascots will be regularly handing out freebies to visitors at Kids World.

CF9 will be open to members of the public on January 4, 2011 from 10am to 10pm. Free shuttle buses will run regularly from the National Stadium car park A and B.The Brunei Times
