NEWLY opened last week at Simpang 1973, Jln Junjongan Restaurant Azriyah will launch Brunei's first ever commercially available Beras Laila dish to the Bruneian market on Tuesday, February 21.

Open from 6am to 9pm daily, Restaurant Azriyah serves typical kampung food with a clean breezy open feeling.

Paying tribute to the humble beginnings of the rice made in Brunei, the owner opened up the restaurant to serve the local market with Brunei's own Beras Laila with kampung-style fried chicken or daging rendang. It is a simple yet authentic hearty dish to satisfy those cravings for home-cooked meals.

The house specialty complements other tasty dishes such as Roti Telur, Nasi Lemak Special, Soto Kawin, Mee Goreng Ayam and Kolo Mee Daging.

For those pushed for time, there is always the option of Nasi Katok for take away, conveniently located at the entrance of the restaurant. The Brunei Times
