IN PREPARATION for the sixth edition of the Royal Trophy tournament, which is set to occur this December, The Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday signed an agreement with Cityneon Sdn Bhd for the provision of advertorial billboards for the promotion of the upcoming event.
The signing ceremony took place at the Bunker Bistro of The Empire Hotel & Country Club, where Director of JPH Sdn Bhd Hj Yakob Hj Yusof, as well as Hjh Zetty Zarirah Dato Paduka Hj Metassan, executive director of JPH Sdn Bhd, were present alongside other guests.
General Manager of The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Desmond Acheson, signed the agreement on behalf of the hotel, whilst Dato Jack Ting represented on behalf of Cityneon Sdn Bhd.
With the agreement, Cityneon Sdn Bhd will be the official Outdoor Media Partner for The Royal Trophy, which will see the best of Asia's golfers against European golfers.
It will be the first time that The Royal Trophy tournament will be held outside of Thailand.
Furthermore, Japanese golfing veteran Naomichi 'Joe' Ozaki has been appointed to lead the Asian front as the tournament's captain for the fifth consecutive time.
