SOAS College hosts visiting Indian artist

SOAS College recently hosted Ashok Kumar, an Indian artist who specialises in Indian paper art and origami. Ashok, a representative of Fine Art Work Experience International, is in Brunei for three weeks as a guest of the Indian High Commission. Throughout the duration of his visit, he will be making appearances in various schools and educational institutions.

SOAS College Principal Hj Ismail Hj Zainal thanked Ashok for his time and efforts in providing valuable insight into the world of paper art and for sharing his experiences with the students.

SOAS College Liaison Officer Fahim Docrat said, "Our teachers and students were very impressed with the presentation, and many of our students have expressed an interest in further exploring Indian paper art and possibly even considering this as a career option."
