HUNDREDS of students flocked to the Katok Sixth Form Centre (PTE Katok) yesterday for the 2012 Education United Kingdom (UK) Exhibition, where about 30 educational institutions showcased respective courses.

Four seminars were also held, to inform students on where and what to study, how to apply for undergraduate study in the UK, on studying science in the UK and on engineering in the UK.

British Council Education Promotion Officer Cecile Dasal, believed the seminars were the main highlight of the education fair.

"This is a really really good turn-out, and I think the exhibitors would be very pleased with this... Most of the students actually know which university or higher educational institution they want to go to, and what subjects they intend to pursue," she said.
