START your day with a KFC breakfast that boasts newly-improved recipes and its new addition, the 'a.m. Blueberry Pancake'.
"We are proud to reintroduce our breakfast line as we have not only improved upon the recipes, but also introduced a new addition," said KFC Brunei Marketing Executive Jonathan Bong.
One of the dishes that has been improved upon is the local favourite, the 'a.m. Chicken Porridge'.
"After studying the ways we can improve upon the taste, we decided to use chunks of chicken fillet rather than chicken strips to further enhance the taste of the porridge," said Bong.
The marketing executive disclosed that KFC have also acquired a sunny-side up egg machine. "We understand that some people like scrambled eggs, but there are also those who would prefer their eggs served sunny-side up. Therefore we are giving customers a wider choice. However, we do recommend the sunny-side up egg served with our 'Cheezy Egg Bun' for a tastier treat.
The marketing executive went on to state that KFC also acquired a sunny side up egg machine. "We understand that some people like scrambled eggs but there are also those who would prefer sunny side up. So customers now have a choice, but we do recommend the sunny side up with our Cheezy Egg Bun for a tastier treat," he said.
Bong also added that KFC has made changes to its 'a.m. Platter Combo'. "We are now introducing a burger patty into the combo to replace the piece of chicken on the bone we previously served. This makes the whole combo look more like a breakfast meal," he said.
The menu's newest addition, the 'a.m. Blueberry Pancake' is a light and fluffy pancake with blueberries, served with butter and maple syrup. The pancakes can be ordered ala carte or as part of a platter combo as well.
The KFC breakfast menu is available from 7am to 11am at KFC branches in Gadong Central, Kiulap, Berakas, Sengkurong, Kuala Belait and at the airport.
