SCB's Islamic employees hold tahlil ceremony

THE Islamic Staff Body of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) recently held a get together among its Muslim staff, held at the bank's main branch.

Hj Abd Rahim Hj Abd Rahman of the SCB Islamic Staff Body said: "We are delighted to hold this event for our Muslim staff and to provide the opportunity to foster closer ties through such events."

The function began with a mass Surah Yassin recital, followed by the bertahlil ceremony. The doa was then read by Imam Mohd Hasnal Hj Mohamad from Masjid Al- Muhtadee Billah, Kg Sg Kebun.

The staff then had the opportunity to mingle with each other over refreshments served at the end of the bertahlil ceremony.
