ON MONDAY, July 30, 2012, I A Salon along with Fun Bee Park, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Fitness Zone paid a visit to the children and maternity wards at RIPAS Hospital to bring joy to the patients, especially the children who might be experiencing uncomfortable conditions.

To the children admitted, I A Salon and Fun Bee Park gave away goodie bags containing homemade crafts made by the Fun Bee Park staff, toys, snacks, stationery, colouring books, dates and vouchers. Whilst mothers admitted at the maternity ward were given Hari Raya hampers containing homemade crafts, cookies, dates, toys, vouchers and a customised keepsake hand or foot print kit.

KFC gave away meal vouchers to all the children and mothers visited.

Fitness Zone donated toys given away by their customers and they also distributed vouchers for three-days admission to the gym worth $60 each.

Children from Fun Bee Park were encouraged to be actively involved in giving away the goodie bags to the children they met and were asked to wish them well.

All the goodie bags prepared by the organisers were given away to patients as priority and the rest were given to the patients' family members and also to the friendly nurses.

The children's ward was also given a handmade replica of the Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, handed over by Cecilia Lee, I A Salon's Manager and Hjh Mariam Hashim, the director of Fun Bee Park. The head nurse of the children's ward, Rubiah Md Yusof gladly received it and expressed that it would be a great addition to the ward.
