ONE Stop Brunei (OSB), in collaboration with CANDAS International Film Festival (CIFF), is extending its Video Competition deadline to 11.59pm on November 20 to allow more time for the public to send in their short film videos.
The competition offers aspiring filmmakers a chance to showcase their talent in filmmaking and the winner receives a $250 cash prize and a free entry to the CIFF.
OSB founder Muhd Shavez Cheema stated that all contestants have to do is send in a short film under 55 minutes long and post it on the One Stop Brunei Facebook page timeline. The video that receives the most 'likes' wins.
CANDAS (Creative Academy of the Narrative and Dramatic Arts and Science) founder and CEO Syukri Jumin said that the contest is open to the public and the short film can be in any language, though films in languages other than Malay and English must come with subtitles.
The winner of the video competition will be announced on November 21. Anwar Rosly
