HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah yesterday granted an audience to British parliamentarians from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and a special envoy of Senegal's President at Bukit Kayangan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade discussed bilateral relations between Brunei and the United Kingdom, with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association members, led by Ben Chapman.

The 67-year-old Chapman was elected as a Labour member of Parliament for Wirral South since 1997.

His Royal Highness also met Abdoulaye Balde, special envoy to Senegal President Abdoulaye Wade, in a separate audience, and discussed relations between Brunei and the former French colony, as well as matters related to the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
