THE winners for the Brunei Cyber Games (BCG) were announced yesterday after teams and individual players had competed with each other on different games during the competition.
The games which were played yesterday were Guitar Hero III, Pro Evolution Soccer on the Playstation 2 and Warcraft: Defence of the Ancients and Counter Strike on computers.

The top prize in Guitar Hero III Division 'C' was won by Yusra, Md Ismail Fatharani and Lyana Ashari.

The World Cup finals went to Md Alif Akmal, followed by Hjh Siti Nursyairah Hj Sali and third place went to Tahmimi.
For Counter Strike, Team Roma Victor, which consisted of Abdul Wahab Mohd Fadillah, Jaylevie Tan, Alex Lim Yong Kang, Melvin Pang and Muhd Ruzaini Hj Abdul Rajab won over Ace Gaming and HD.
Team Roma Victor has competed over several events locally and internationally. Some of the countries which they have competed in were Singapore and Malaysia.
"It was a good response from the community," said Rano Iskhandar, the main organiser of the Brunei Cyber Games.
He added that though 400 participants had joined the competition it was less than the previous BCG due to the exams period.
"We were very overwhelmed from the amount of participants," said Rano.
The competition, he added, had fostered stronger relations between competitors and brought about families support for their children in the event.
The competition was the second to be held by RanoAdidas. The first BCG, held earlier this year, also met with good response from visitors as well as from participants.
