HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday welcomed the arrival of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
His Majesty King Abdullah II is here to attend the second Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX), which opens today to trade visitors and delegates.
Also present to welcome the visiting monarch yesterday at the Brunei International Airport were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Upon touching down, His Majesty introduced His Majesty King Abdullah II to Brunei's Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Deputy Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Paduka Hj Mohammad Yasmin Hj Umar and Royal Brunei Armed Forces Commander Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Halbi Hj Mohd Yussof.
