MD KHAIRUL ANNUAR SUHAILIE scored the winning goal for his team in the 86th minute as March United won 3-2 over their opponents Sengkurong FC during their 2007/2008 DST Group Brunei Premier League I match at the Berakas Sport Field, Berakas last night.
March United were down 1-0 during the first half of the match.
Sengkurong FC's Md Yusmin Hatta Md Yusop scored the first goal of the match in the 30th minute.
While later in the second half, Mohd Haidir Fadzillah Hj Noor Ismadi's ball managed to end up at the back of the net in the 50th minute to make it 2-0 in favour of Sengkurong FC.
Thereafter, during the second half of last night's match March United began to show a different intensity in performance a more confident, swift and better teamwork amongst the players. Their passing was more accurate and the defence was difficult to penetrate.
Eventually Mohd Sufri Hj Md Yusoff put the ball cleanly pass the Sengkurong FC's goal keeper in the 59th minute and Md Khairul Annuar Suhailie equalised the score at 2-2 as he scored in the 67th minute.
The winning goal for March United came as Md Khairul Annuar Suhailie was passed the ball as he was running in towards the centre of the box and his penetrating shot ended deep in the back of the net in the 86th minute.
"We were very lucky to catch up with them (Sengkurong FC) and win," Team Manager of March United, Mazlan Hj Abdul Hamid said
"I feel both teams had the same skill level and tactics," he added.
Mazlan said his team performance was better last night compared to the previous match against QAF FC especially for his midfielders and defenders.
