Student held for making threat on Facebook to bomb Najib helicopter

A 24-YEAR-OLD university undergraduate was detained for questioning after threatening to bomb Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak's helicopter in a Facebook posting. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Gan Kong Meng said the student was brought in to the district police headquarters on Patani Road for questioning at around 1.30pm yesterday. A police report had been lodged at the Jelutong police station against a blog posting which featured a screenshot of the student's Facebook profile.

In the latest status update on the Facebook profile, it was written najib is coming to our campus...let's bomb his helicopter...'.
