BRUNEI'S national flag was lowered down yesterday marking the closing of the 26th National Day celebrations.

The ceremony, held in front of the Taman Hj Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien, saw 20 personnels from the Royal Brunei Navy hoisting down the giant flag measuring at 3.7m by 7.3m (12 by 24 feet), accompanied by the Royal Brunei Police Force marching band performing the National Anthem.
