Crown Prince holds talks with Qatari Heir Apparent

HIS Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday met His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Heir Apparent of Qatar.

The meeting was held at the Amiri Diwan in Doha where both royals discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Accompanying His Royal Highness was Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Khalifa Al-Thani, Minister of State of Internal Affairs.

The royal entourage accompanying the Crown Prince includes Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Muntaqim and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah. Also in HRH's entourage is Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi. The Crown Prince and royal entourage arrived in Doha on March 25 on a four-day official visit to Qatar for which a luncheon banquet was held in honour of the Crown Prince.

In the afternoon, the Crown Prince visited the Museum of Islamic Art. On arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Rashid Al-Hajiri, Head of Protocol of the Museum of Islamic Art. The Crown Prince then took a closer look at artifacts on display at the museum which included the "Book of Secrets" owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar and the gift of the Sultan. Before leaving, HRH consented to sign the visitors book and received a pesambah presented by the Head of Protocol of the museum. The Brunei Times
