THE Department of Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education (MoE) in conjunction with the 22nd Teachers' Day, held a tahlil to pay respects to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Hj Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, at the Royal Mausoleum yesterday.
Officers, supervisors and teachers from MoE including students from colleges and secondary schools from the Brunei-Muara and Tutong area also attended the recital.
The students included uniformed personnel, cadets from the police, army, fire and rescue department, scouts and the red crescent.
